This was once a well from which the Prophet
[s] and his companions drew water to plant and water the date
palms in the "Garden of Salman" - as the payment for
freeing Salman "al-Muhammadi" from bondage. Behind it
is the Bayt al-Huzn of Imam Ali b. al-Husayn [a]
